67 Mustang Convertible frame rail replacement

Anybody have any advice, links, or pics on best way to replace.repair front frame rails. Looks like the rust on battery side goes underneath the shock tower assy. Can show pics.
Thanks in advance...btw, my first mustang resto, Ive done mostly corvettes. They are no fun either, but in a different way...lol

Only way I know how to properly repair it is to replace the frame rails.

It's a lot of work, but it is done right. You might not be able to do this yourself. So if not, find yourself a bodyman that does frame repair and is a good welder. If the aprons are not installed correctly nothing will fit on the car and everything will be off.

Now that I have it accessible , I know how I'm going to proceed. I just didn't want to change out the whole frame rail.

Looks like you have it under control. Good luck. Show some pics when you get it fixed.
