Default 68 fastback to 5.0 T-5 swap

Need some info on swapping in a late model 5.0 and T-5 into a 68 fastback. I know I will need front sump oil pan and thinking someone makes a trans crossmember to fit the T-5 to early stangs. Also would like to use all the computer wiring harness to use fuel injection setup. So if anyone has some helpfull ideas please let me know. Will need all the help I can get on this project. Thanks guys.....

Been there done that.

What kind of info you looking for?

Gather some parts man then go from there on your questioning.

Internet searches helped me my first time around 2 yrs ago.

Good luck.

NPD and a few other companies have t-5 adaptor kits, with new crossmember, etc, and depending if the car is already stick, they have cable clutch conversions as well.
These are some of the best 5.0 conversion links I have,
http://www.ultrastang.com/Tech02.asp
http://www.windsorfox.com/ (they specialize in efi conversions)
http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...ap/index.shtml
Just a few of the links out there. the best thing you can do at this point is research, Research,RESEARCH, and learn from the mistakes of others The web in general and sites like this in particular are your best resource.
Good luck, Hope this helped!
