Question 68 FB description

I am looking into a 68 Fastback and it says in the discription that it has dual point ignition. Does that mean a BB or what?

no a duel point igintion is a distributor with two sets of points. They were used back before there was electronic ignition and hot coils. It gives you longer coil buildup for a hotter spark. If its a factory distributor ic could be worth a bit of money to a collector

The only dual point I can think of from the factory was the 289HiPo. They're easy to recognize, they don't have a vaccum advance on the distributor.

Question

Some kid in Oak Cliff wanted to trade me for my coupe. He had a 66 FB and all that was wrong was the A arm was bent from a curb smashing. It was a 4 spd too. He put in a Auto. What do you think?
