68 Radio noise
I have a 68 coupe with a 289. My problem is the engine noise coming through the radio. I have an aftermarket Customautosound deck with the cd changer in the trunk. I have tried everything to eliminate the noise. Re-ran speaker wires, replaced antenna, new spark plug wires, and the deck has a built in noise suppressor. The only other thing I can think of is a cleaner power source.
Anyone have any ideas on a solution? Anyone know what was the original power source (wire color) used on a 68? Its very loud through the speakers.
