Question '69 heater hose connections - please advise

I have a 1969 Mach I 351W 4V w/o A/C.
When I got the car, the heater core
leaked and the hoses were disconnected.
I am now repairing the heater, but
I don't know where to connect the hoses
from the heater core to the water pump.
There are two possible places to connect
the hoses at the water pump.
Please help!
And, anyone know where I can get a set
of manuals for my car? Perhaps a set of
Ford 1969 Service Manuals?
Thanks!

We to have an "M" code 69 Mach 1.
Our heater hoses are as follows...
The upper hose on the firewall goes to the water pump. (the lower of the two pump connections) and the lower firewall connection goes to the Intake manifold on top by the radiator hose.

The uppermost (of the small) water pump connections is connected to the front of the intake manifold at the thermostat cover with a short 90 degree (angle) hose.
Hope this helps.
PS. Is your factory intake cast iron or aluminum?

I'm sure you can get the shop manuals from alot of parts dealers, I got mine from Dallas Mustang parts only because there local. It will be the best investment you'll make to get the the 5 volume set it only runs $59.95.

Thanks mslcr and Clark for your help!

The heater hose connections look right.
The short 90 degree-angled hose looks
exactly the same as you described, and
the other two connections are joined by a
two-foot piece of heater hose. That's
the one I'll take off and replace with
the heater hoses. Thanks again!

Actually, I have a B&M blower with an
aluminum intake manifold, but the water
pump, thermostat housing, and heater
hose connections are in the same place
as a stock manifold.
