Default Chilton's

In perusing my old Chiltons Manual, I came upon the fact that in 1969, the 351 W used the larger 18mm spark plugs while the 351 C used the smaller 14 mm plugs. That should answer the W/C question anyway.

The Vehicle identification plate located in the left door jamb or near the windshield, will have a letter designated for the engine. Should be the 5th from the left on the VIN.

F=302
H=351 2V
M=351 4V

Hope that helps.
