70 mustang
I have a 1970 hard top Mustang with a 302 and a C4 automatic. Do you know if any larger moyor will fit in the car without much modifing ? My car is stock.
Also, what motor would you recommend as far as good performance and resale. Is a windsor or clevand more desireable as far as 351 go ? Thank you, Martin Topry mtorpy_98@yahoo.com |

Just about anything will fit in a 70 engine bay.
Ease of changing??? I would go with a 351W. Either stock displacement or stroked. They are available and lots of parts are offered to hop them up. If you're keeping the C-4, the 351W should bolt right up. [This message has been edited by Gearhead999 (edited 02-03-2001).] |

I have seen 70 mustangs with a 429 in them with no modification. But I agree the way to go would be the 351 windsor.
