First, thanks for the useful replies.
The guy at the car shop removed the balance weight of the old flex plate, the engine allmost jumps out my car. He's gonna welt it back on monday, I hope than it's as bad as it was before. I know now that the combo is original, the transmission code on my door says X. He said that the flex plate that I need isn't availible (I live in Holland). I think that the former owner replaced the flex plate with a wrong one (from the 351 engine or something).Do you guys know a dealer how sells the right flex plate or knows the specification of this flex plate. If I know the spec, than I can modify the one I have, there are shop which balance fly wheels maybe they can also modify a flex plate, if they have the right spec. This problem keeps me awake at night....
