Default 72 351 cleveland rebuild specs. please help

I am starting the rebuild process on my 72 fastback. I have a book that goes from 73-74, it shows main journal dia. is suppose to be 2.999-3.002 mine is measuring 2.960. Is the 72 journal dia. suppose to be smaller? Any help would be great, thanks.

Default Re: 72 351 cleveland rebuild specs. please help

sorry everyone, had a brain fart, i was looking at crank specs. and trying to figure out why my main caps didnt measure to spec. HAHA! I could use block specs though if anyone has them. bore, main cap, piston to cylinder wall etc. This should be an easy rebuild, car had 75,000 orig. miles on it, all std bearings etc. had a blown head gasket and had water in it for about a year but it looks pretty good inside. Thanks
