Post 72 351 windsor longblock

Ok, one more question. I am looking for a new longblock and I went to Discount auto parts and they said that they have a 72 351W longblock for $850,I asked if the had the 69 windsor and he said that these are the same ones as the 69. Is this a good block, or would I be better off with getting my 289, which I dont think it ever been rebuilt since it was factory made in 64-65, rebuilt, if rebuilding is the way to go what price range would I be looking at from a mechinec to rebuild it. Thx for your help.

I know that 69-74 have a lot of the same specs. I prefer my 351 over my old 289
