Default 72 trunk


I have severe pitting corrosion in the trunk of my '72 mach 1 is there a way to fix this or can I just get a new trunk? I am an idiot when it comes to restoration of a car

When you say corrision do you meen rust? If so and it is not rusted through you might think of applying a product called Extend available at NAPA. It will chemically treat the rust and the result is a surface that can be primered and painted. If you do try this strip as much of the original paint as possible to get to all the rust.
