Camshaft Tips?
I have a 66 with a 76 model 302 and 73 model 351W heads.I am running 370 gears and a c4. I want this car to be a hot street runner but not way radical. I would like a nice cam rumble however. As always it needs to be as low buck as possible. Looking for cam package suggestions that dont require much over spring change in the heads. Thanks! |

I've always been fond of elderbrock packages because they take alot of the guess work out.

I've always liked Comp Cams for these sort of things, although I've also used a small Crane that was very similar to the Edelbrock and Motorsport (I think they are both Motorsport cams). The 260 High Energy is nice for a daily driver, and the 268 High Energy will give you a pretty good lope. Sounds pretty good but still isn't a radical cam. Don't get much bigger than this or you'll lose all the low end torque and wind up with a hard to tune, won't run when it's cold sort of engine.
