76 Mustang II
Just purchased a 76 Mustang II with a v-6 auto and need any info regarding a 302 swap.
Any info on: engine tranny rear end would be appreciated. |

What kind of info do you need? Any 302 will bolt in, but you'll need V8 motor mounts and frame mounts. A C-4 trans with special small bellhousing is recommended, but not necessary. A 9" rear from a Granada or Monarch, or of course Lincoln Versaille (disc brakes) is a bolt in, if you use the shock mounts from the donor car with new u-bolts. Granada/Monarch front rotors are available to convert to 5 lug wheels, but a special caliper bracket is needed, unless you get a donor Granada/Monarch, then you can use the spindles, brackets from it. E-mail me if you have further questions.
