Default Oil Pump

Which way do I need to turn the oil pump to prime the engine?

Look at the firing order on your distributor and turn it that direction. I want to say counter clockwise but I can't quite remember. But you can turn it both ways, one way will be really easy and the other will get fairly hard real fast. The hard way is pumping oil through the engine so that is what you want to do.
