Default Aftermarket efi conversions

hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any other efi kits other than the edelbrock ones or the one from Coast high performance which looks cool but seems way too pricey. Im thinking of a spyder type one and just using the ford computer unless i can find somehting as a complete kit which would be nice. Let me know what u guys are using or have seen.

thanks

Im looking for a kit for the 289/302 based kits as well as for the 351's cause i may build one

If you have the bucks those EFI kits are nice. But, If your broke like me, go to the junk yard and get a mass air flow system. Believe 87-93 Mustang's are all mass air flow. Would be the cheap way to start.

If your lucky you may find a motor and all.

I believe the 86-89 were speed density.
(I think)

86-88 cars where speed density but in california 88 up were mass aired.

Just pirate one off a wrecked car I did when I had a 5.0 efi t-5 set up on my fastback.

Now look at me

Question 67 with a 4.6 & T56? Tell me more...

I'd like to hear a little more about the 67 Mustang project with 4.6 cobra & T56... I've considered a similar conversion but it's gonna be a real pain due to the width of the Mod engine... Good bye shock towers, hello coil overs.. should be very cool though.... what are your plans?

Oh, btw.. I've got a late model OEM/MAF/EFI in my car...wasn't easy but it works great

Well the shock towers have been removed and a mustang II suspension has replaced it. Tubular arms and adjustable coil overs.

The engine is a 4.6 cobra DOHC that I might tear down to upgrade to H beam rods and lower compression forged pistons.

Intake and valve covers will be polished and a polished T trim vortech probably will be waiting for install if I can get enought space forward with the radiator in the way. I was going to get a kenne bell but there are no intercoolers for it and a cobra 96-98 motor .

The t-56 is from an 03 cobra along with aluminum flywheel. 4.5" aluminum driveshaft.

The rear I still can't decide what I want. IRS or built solid axle.

The exterior is getting an eleanor kit. Nice deep black paint and 17x9 cobra r's in front and 17x10.5 rear with 315 35 series tires.

Interior roll cage, 2 seater only. phantom gauges, dvd, monitors, etc etc.

estimated completion date late May.
