Default Aftermarket Hood Scoop

i have a 65 stang. i am wanting to put a hood scoop on. has anyone ever done this? i am concerned because my hood isnt totally flat. the scoop i want is fiberglass of course and im just wondering how to get it on the hood so its flat?? it will be bolted on...

there are numerous kits available with bolt on hood scoops for your car. they are a perfect fit for the most part, and relatively easy to install. hope this helps.
