AIR SHOCKS! & Distributor Update

Well folks-the 65 Stang coupe runs like a"Spotted *** Ape!"I got the distributor in . I forgot about the 4 strokes-how stupid!
Cant drive yet-The rear wheels rub.I couldnt get backspacing unless I paid a fortune. I really like the American Eagle polished 55s.15X7.
I'm getting air shocks for the time being.I'm not really concerned about a smooth ride. It's not a daily driver. Just for fun & going cool places-sometimes to work & back.Any Feed back on AIR SHOCKS!

you'll never get any traction with air shocks if you ever get in a race... most places sell the different offset wheels for the same price...

Be careful with the air shocks if you ever drive it in cold weather. They tend to lose air when it gets cold lowering the butt-end of the car, then your tires would rub again. I guess you shouldn't really ever have to worry about this though, living in San Antonio.

Air shocks maybe a bad idea. When they leak, like mine did, you can't drive and then you get stuck with gay *** skinny wheels on the back. ( i know because this is how my car looks right now.)

Be careful with air shocks. If you put too much air in them then you could break suspension parts. Yesterday my lower shock mount ripped off and it took most of the suspension with it. Now it looks like the leaf spring is gonna slide out from under the car and I've gotta try and get a plate out of a junkyard. And the ride was rough as hell.

Well 2 friends of mine both have airshocks in their cars. My friend has a 69 chevelle BB 396 and it hooks great w/ air shocks, no problems there. My cousin has a 320hp 302 68 mustang w/ them and they are great, the ride is very good.

I plan on gettin some for my car to fit bigger tires too.
