![]() I have a 67 stang and my turning radius is way less than specified in the manual. I should be getting about 1-3/4 turns of the steering wheel in either direction but the most I get is 1 turn. The front spindles have been swapped out with granada disc brakes. This was done before I got the car. Not sure if it was done right.
It has been suggested that the gearbox is bad. I got a good 66 gearbox for free. Will the 66 gearbox fit on my 67? Should I just try to rebuild the 67 gearbox? Do you think the problem is in something other than the gearbox? |

![]() Since I posted this message, I have found out more about my steering. I verified that the steering box is bad. I also found out that the 66 gearbox will fit on an early 67 (which I have).
