Default 8 cyl conversion question

sorry I have to keep bothering you guys about this topic. I thought I had everything figured out but I guess not.

ok I was woundering if A 302 from A 79 ford van would fit in my 66 mustang. and I know I have to get V8 mounts. I was planning on getting the one's from NPD. they say they fit all V8's from 65 to 70. now the guy that is selling the motor says that those ones will work. will they. and if not then what mounts do I need if it is at all possible to get this motor in my car.

also what is the HP on this year. I know the power dropped in the early 70's. but did it go back up by 79.

thanks again guys. your help is appreciated.
