Default anyone interested in a regal for drag racing??

Hey guys i have an 80 buick regal 3.8L that would be PERFECT for a drag car, if u like pimp-ride type racecars haha, anyone interested? it still runs and drives, it burns oil, but has power options, Ill take $500 obo for it, its grey, the body is straight with just a lil rust on the passenger quarter from where there was a paint chip. it would be a good car if the motor didnt go through alot of oil. Drop me a line if your interested

I like the newer Regal T-Types.... Yeh it's a GM but they are a nice sleeper. Ricers have no idea what's under the hood. I'm thinking of getting either one of those, or a Grand National next spring.

Yeh after I posted that I was thinking maybe they did... not sure. I'm not much of a GM guy, just a fan of the REgal and Grand National.

Yeah, dude, i got a friend with a real hard on for regals, he might want it. how much oil does it use, exactly, and is it pretty driveable? he's got another car, but he might want yours. i'm gonna get ahold of him in about and hour, and i'll let you know.

My sisters boyfriend had a grand national and talked alot of smack about how fast it was.........After 2 trips to the track and a best of 15 flat @90mph he sold it.

I know thats not typical but it was funny as hell,

well i drive this car back and forth to work, its about 30 miles each way, i'd say it goes through about 2 qts every month or so, it goes through alot, but its got over 200K miles on it, but it is straight, it would be perfect for a 350 or larger swap as a drag car, unless u want a carbed 3.8 to race with, its actually not that bad of shape for being an 80

Ok, my friend is definitely interested, so if you want to PM me your number, i'll have him call you. He's from rochester indiana, which is just about in the middle of northern indiana, i'm not sure what part of illinois you're in. we'll have to come look at it sometime, maybe we could on the weekend or something.
