![]() I may be moving to Australia in the next few months and though i have grown to love my baby over the few months we have had together I may have to let her go (shipping and taxes are ridiculous).
I have a 69 mustang coupe with a straight 6 250. The body is in exceptional shape, but the paint job is a crummy and chipping in a few places. The interior is immaculate. I have redone all the upholstery and the headliner as well as putting in a slick new steering wheel.. The dash is in bad condition though, nothing too hard to fix. I need new kickpanels, the heater is currently disconnected, no ac, no radio. I need to decide if I should go ahead and stomach the shipping costs or if I should sell her and get a new baby. I have put at least 150 hrs into her since I got her 4 mo ago and have developed a strong connection to my car. Just curious what you guys think market might be. |

![]() I think you would be much better selling your car, as i dont think it would be worth it for you. Australia has alot of really cool cars over there, they somehow still had awesome cars being built into the mid-70's. They drive on the left side to....that would confuse me, haha. Good luck with your move.

![]() Sell it and then wire the $$. Alot less expensive than trying to ship the car. You can then purchase another car without the shipping costs.

![]() I don't have any other pictures small enough to post.
Selling the car sounds like the right idea from a pragmatic standpoint, but it just feels so wrong from a personal standpoint. |
