best shocks ???????

Hey all I have a 65 fastback w/17" torque trust II's and will be adding grab-a-trak 5-leaf mid-eye rear leaf springs and 620 front coils . My question is what is the best shocks for me ? I have been thinking of KYB Gas-A-Just.

tinner i am wondering did you have any problems putting those rims on the car did you have to do mods or they just went right on also i have the kyb gas adjust shocks i think they are great although i have not been driving the car i see the diffrence in those shocks by just how the car sits..

I have the KYB's on my 68. They are the best shocks I have had on it. And I've had three different sets. They are stiff, but controlable.

thanks I went w/ the kyb's .

The wheels went on easy w/ no mods and the look great. I also went w/ the 17x7's w/ 235/45 tires so I can drop it 1" in the front and 1 1/2 " or 2" in the rear w/ no probs.

I might get some flak here but if I put in heavier springs ect I would go with the cheap stock type shocks you might have to replace them more often but the ride will be much nicer and the cost will be low and the job will be done
