best way to store a car.

Well this is actually refering to a truck, but I always thought when storing a vehicle it was best to drain the gas, and run the car until the lines, fuel pump, and carberator, were completeltly out of gas. I know from experience the gas gets thick and the carb needs rebuilding/cleaning if it still has gas in it. however, someone told me to run the car out of gas, but then fill the tank completly up so that no air can get in it. That the air is what causes the gas to go bad.
What is everbodys opinion on this drain the tank or fill it up?
I just don't want to fill it up then have a full take go bad.

The key here is to treat the gas with an additive then fill it up and let it run through the engine. If you drain the gas it will allow air to get to exposed metal and start rust.
But if it is going to be stored in Mesa I would go either way, how long are you planing to store the truck? Fuel additives are usually only good for a year or so.
