I just did the power booster on my '68 which is the same as a '67. You can replace the master cylinder by unbolting it from the power booster. No under the dash work. Changing the power booster is where that comes in.
Be sure to bleed the master cylinder before connecting the break lines otherwise you've got a lot of air to bleed.
