There are lots of things u can do on a tight budget. Some basic things K and N air filter, underdrive pullies, headers, a full free flow exhuast system. U can also check ur state smog laws, in california cars 72 or 73 and below dont have smog so i ditched all that crap on my car very quickley. This way u dont need cats and things like that on ur exhuast. so u might wanna check that out. Just a good tune up really helps out a lot too depeneding on when the last time the car had one is. Stuff like new spark plug wires, new spark plugs. I have a full msd set up on mine and it works great and cheap to buy and something u can do urslef very easly.
