![]() Hi Gang,
I have a 66 fastback restomod. I've put Cragar SS (Toys from my childhood) 8" wheels on the back. The problem is that when I dip I rub pretty hard. It's a really nice street ride with all sorts of goodies and I want it to run right. If possible I'd like to lower the beast an inch or so for handling purposes, but as it is now, I'd just like to drive without rubbing. I've been considering having my axle cut down (I have a 9" rear end) or even body mods (I'd rather not) But I'd really appreciate info from experienced mustangers. I do need extra rubber in the back as I have a bit of horse power and a 5 speed.... Thanks in advance eric |
