I did take a week or so to install the heads. I did get an adjustable push rod (Lunatti/Summit) and did have weak valve springs put into the #1 cyl (machine shop) so as to check piston to valve clearance. (You need at least a dial indicator caliper for that). Actually everything went well except for minor glitches.
And of course you do need to have the correct valve springs reinstalled, and then reinstall the heads after all that checking.
