Is it a good idea to have a cowl induction hood on a car that see's the outdoor elements on a daily basis? Will leaves or water fall into the engine compartment? Just wondering because I'm thinking of buying a hood like this for the 67'.

I don't think it will be a problem, I have the cowl hood on my 66'. Just clean the stuff out when you see it. Give you a chance to admire your engine more. The biggest issue is finding a quality hood, I have the Mier Racing hood, and I dont reecomend it.

Try www.up22.com Have one of their cowl hoods on my 65, and getting a 6 inch cowl for my 68. Not bad pricing either.

COBRA66 you probably have seen my fastback. Just about everyday I'm in the Delta College vicinity. As a mater of fact someone at delta college decided to add some art of their own on my car. I haven't seen a 66' with a cowl induction hood around. Except for the bramlet kid's.
