Default cylinder looking thing under dash????

I was trying to fiqure ground problems under my dash yesterday for the gauges and saw this cylinder that sit right next to the steering column and what is it. It is the wiper motor or something. If you are looking at the dash it sits to the right of the steering column and it also leaking fluid too.

Whats it leaking?

Engine oil? = Oil pressure gauge.
Trans oil? = Speedo cable.

Need a picture or some more info.

Sounds like the wiper motor. But it shouldn't be leaking anything. Are you sure it isn't water leaking in from the cowl or windshield and running down on the wiper motor??
