Default Dash lights

I have some lights behind my gauges that are out. Anyone here ever replace these? I`m getting tired of seeing half the speedo and would like to replace the bulbs.

yes (in a 70), not that big of a deal, provided your problem doesn't lie in the printed circuit board. Little plastic twist in bulbholders that make contact w/ circuit board. Dash has to come out and then pull gauge cluster, careful not to tear circuit board.

I have before, in a bunch of customer cars. I usually use some emery cloth to clean up the contacts, bend the contacts out a little and then put some dielectric grease on the contacts. (They have a tendancy to lose connection.) If they lose connection after that it's time to go to the parts store for new sockets. Hope this helps.
