Can you pull the metal dash piece out of the car? The piece that the instr. cluster and everything sits in.

In that case do you know of any durable dash paints out there on the market. I don't care about the price as long as I get the quality.

What you want is a quality acrylic enamel sprayed with a catalyst. The catalyst will harden the paint so it acts, looks, and feels like baked on enamel. Any paint shop can spray this kind of paint. The key is in the mixing of the component paints and additives. Any auto paint maker has these paints available, e.g. DuPont, Ditzler, BASF, etc. What you'll want to do is to strip the dash, remove any dash pad, mask off any guts inside then have the shop paint it. If you have a paint spray outfit, you can do it yourself but be sure to get the advice of your local auto paint distributor then practice with the paint and additives before trying to spray your dash.
