Question Do I Need To Go Disc. Brakes ?

Hi Guys: Guess who lol

First thngs first. On your suggestion about replacing my headlight switch ~ WELL, YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY
I GOT LIGHTS TO DRIVE MY CAR AT NIGHT ~ HORAY ! ! !

HERE'S THE QUESTION:

DO I HAVE TO INSTALL DISC BRAKES (I HAVE POWER BRAKES NOW)
I was told by a young kid on my block who works on Mustangs said,
" . . . you need to put in disc brakes because you want 17" tires.

QUESTION(S)

IS THAT TRUE GUYS

I'm working on my front end at present dancin' with installing a 1 1/4 in. sway bar. Damn what a beauty. It's a HEAVY DEAL. But I should get better handling ~ RIGHT GUYS

O.K. GENTLEMEN: (AGAIN) DO I HAVE TO PUT IN DISC BRAKE DO TO THE FACT IN THE NEAR FUTURE I WANT 17in. WHEELS.
BLING! BLING!

THAT'S IT FOR NOW GUYS.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR HELPING ME SO MUCH IN THE PAST.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.

Disc brakes are definatly a big plus. I don't think it is manatory that you install disc for 17" wheels though.

If you're going to drive car....the disc make the drive and the stopping much easier.
Less pulling, surer stops and little to no fade.
If it were me, I'd do it just for the safety factor.
