drive shaft

Ok guys,here's what I got.
On my 69 Cp I am having some drive shaft problems. When I get to 60 m.p.h.(exactly) and I get on the accelerator(only) I can hear and feel a vibration coming from the drive shaft.I think it is coming from the form the front u-joint area. So, what do I do about it. do I pay some one afew bucks or do it myself(with the help of my step-father)
What would you suggest lubbing with?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

If it was me I would change both u-joints myself. All you need is a good c-clamp or press and if you have the time or money have the shaft balanced. There are usually a few shops around that will balance it for you.

Change the u-joints. They are about $15 bucks each. If the front lets go while you are driving, the car is likely to flip and you could die. A little dramatic maybe, but it could happen.

I just had the same problem with my '65. I considered 2 options: get the old shaft rebalanced or buy an aluminum one. The aluminum drive shaft has new u-joints and yoke for ~$300. I pressed in some new u-joints and had the old shaft balanced at a local shop (much less expensive than aluminum).
