Post Drum brake - booster installation

I have a 68 w/ a 289 right now I have manual drum brakes - I would like to install a booster. As my leg is getting tried from having to stomp on he pedal to stop. I fact I think that my left leg is getting bigger than my right one. I also felt it would be safer.
Has anyone ever done this and if so can they offer any information on doing this installation. Where is the best place to buy a booster and which one should I get.
I have considered the disc brake conversion but I just don’t have that kind of cash to spend right now. I figured the booster would cost less than half of what disc brakes would and still be a sizable improvement. Is this a correct assumption.
P.S. This site is great.

I would think about saving up some cash for the conversion. I've got a 69 with power drums and the power helps but drum are drum. You get them wet or do some heavy braking lookout!
As far as where, look in the mustang magazines or catalogs they are sold all over.

Maybe you should consider using your right leg to do the braking instead of the left one.Braking with the left leg, is a habit that is hard to break for some people. When I was a teanager I learned that it was not a good idea to brake with left leg and press on the gas with the right one, fortunelty I did not learn the hard way like my ex-girlfriend who was involved in a colision for her bad habbit.
