Drum brake - booster installation
I have a 68 w/ a 289 right now I have manual drum brakes - I would like to install a booster. As my leg is getting tried from having to stomp on he pedal to stop. I fact I think that my left leg is getting bigger than my right one. I also felt it would be safer.
Has anyone ever done this and if so can they offer any information on doing this installation. Where is the best place to buy a booster and which one should I get. I have considered the disc brake conversion but I just don’t have that kind of cash to spend right now. I figured the booster would cost less than half of what disc brakes would and still be a sizable improvement. Is this a correct assumption. P.S. This site is great. ------------------ |
