electronic ignition on mustang 67 (how to?)

hi... so

first of all i am from germany... i bought a mustang here.. in usa... i am gonna ship it home when i leave from my exchange... :)

I fixed my mustang up so far... the last thing i am planing to do .. is to install an electronic ignition to improve performance and gas milage.

i went to advence auto parts and they looked a couple things up for me... (i haven't bought it yet but i'll propably go to soon)

my PROBLEM IS :

the module that comes with the ignition hooks up to the distributor and to the car... there are 4 (5) outgoing wires .. one is a ground and the other one goes the batterie another one is going to the coil right ?!?!.. and i don't know where the other 2 (3) are going ???
they said i have to buy a book for 72 to whatever mustangs becaus thats when they had their first electronic ignitions... and i have to look up where those wires go...

hmm has somebody any ideas how i hook this systen up ????

THANKS VERY MUCH !!!!!!!

What type of ignition do you have???

72 Mustangs still had points.

Let me know and I'm sure if I don't know where they go, someone else here on the board will.

Get a Petronix converter. It'll cost you 60-70 bucks, take about 15 minutes, and do away with yout points. Its a great mod.
