Default qestion

my car over heats alot quickly i was wondering if i could take the thermostat out to keep this from happening?

Put in a new thermostat, 180 degrees is cool. A new radiator cap wouldnt hurt.

1 gal antifreeze the rest water.

Get bottle of water wetter, autozone etc.

If you still have problems its probibly time for a new radiator.

also check that all you hose clamps are one tight and dont leak causing air to get into your system. Do you have an electric fan or just the metal one on the water pump? do you have a fan shroud?
