![]() I'm looking at a couple of harnesses on ebay, dont know yet if there GT or warning light equiped yet. The wiring diagram I have is for a car with gauges. Would it be worth the effort to try to convert them?
BTW: Quick progress report on my harness project, I've gotten all the bad spots repaired, took out something like 4-5' worth of wiring from the underdash. I'm in the process of continuity testing the underdash, everything else is done, but what has me worried was/is both the amount of bad wire, and the repair pattern. (There seems to be 3 "levels" of repair already done to it. Going from best to worse, some were done with splicing the wires, soldering them and then using red heat shrink, then there are some just done with a unwrapped/shrinked butt connector, some of those done badly enough that the metal of the conector poked through the plastic, and some were just bare half frazzled wire loosely wrapped in tape) The thing that really worries me is that in several cases, these were all done on the same wire, layered, if you will. Like something keeps going wrong with these particular circuits. Either that, or the actual problem/cause was never addressed. I'm going to keep plugging away at it, but am also looking at options. ![]() Thanks all, J

![]() Thanks Red, I'm still waiting to see what the harness has, but either way, it looks like converting it wouldnt be too bad.
