Was it ever done before?
I was wondering if anyone has seen a 32v 99 cobra drivetrain installed in a 66 mustang? I was thinking of doing this project .
If so does anyone have any tips on this install?

I remember seein an article with a '66 that had Ford's new 5.0L "Cammer" motor in it (DOHC) and it had a 6 speed. The wiring itself is supposed to be plug 'n play but it looked like it was a tight fit with the shock towers. If i run by the article again I'll give you the link.

Mustang & Fords
I think the article was in Mustang & Fords. You might find if you go to their web site and do a search.

Also the 11/03 Mustangs and Fords has a 68 Couger with a 4.6. Not much on how they did it but it looks sweet. They managed to hook the TB to an old style dual carb Cobra air cleaner. Looked very factory.
