Re: Ever replaced floors?

Are you doing the entire floor or just patch panels.

Make sure the entire frame is in good shape... since you are working on a 65, you won't need to worry about torque boxes.

If you have the money to burn, I see that they have complete, one piece floorboards available now... they are pricey, though.

Re: Ever replaced floors?

I got the car with the floors supposedly done but after pulling the carpet which I should have to begin with I find that it was a hack job indeed. Luckily my brother went to autobody school and is very good but I wanted to know some things for myself. We pulled the right and left side which are new and can easily be saved and find that it would be a good idea to replace the toeboards as well, and the seat risers were not in it so I have no idea how they go in yet , but I am going to order them this week. I was wondering if I should seal it in anyways other than primer after its done, like undercoating?

Thanks
