Default fel pro gasket problem

i purchased a fel pro gasket set for my 289 v8, as per the intake manifold gaskets, it doesn't state on the gasket or in the instructions, as to which side the extrusion bump goes! towards the head or towards the intake?
please help

Extrusion bump? Are you talking about the intake manifold gasket or the gaskets that seal the ends of the intake to the block?

there are small " L " shaped bumps embossed into the manifold gaskets, does the bump go against the head or the intake manifold?
