Finally looks like a Mustang
Just had the paint applied on the weekend. Here are a few shots I took as I was unmasking the car.

Re: Finally looks like a Mustang
Hey - Good observation. Don't worry - they are not mounted for real - just hanging there. I am going to mount them tonight and they will get turned around.

What color is that? I've been thinking about changing mine back to the original color (silver-smoke gray) or something like graphite. Just don't want it to look too much like Elanor. Looks good though.

Man, I am jealous, that is a beautiful car, even with the traction bars pointed the wrong way. J/K I like the Styled Steels with classic BFG's almost as much as my Cragar S/S rims. Be sure to post more pics when you finish putting all the shiny stuff back on!!

Re: Finally looks like a Mustang
Thanks for the comments. I have the traction bars on the right way now. My son put them on for me and fortunatly he only finger tightened the bolts, so I made him re-do it the right way. Looks normal now. I will get you the color (the official name) later tonight, but it is a dark sliver/grey metallic. I have not sure how close to the Eleanor color is is, but I picked it because I thought it would compliment the interior of the car which is black and white. The process of putting everything back together has begun so there will be more pics to follow.

OK - for anyone that wants to know - The official name of the color is Phantom Grey Metallic (number 5031) by Dupont - U-Tech acrylic urethane.
