Fitting floor pans for 68 mustang
 

I have replaced my torque box and front floor extension to firewall. My full floor pan sits down nice exept it will not sit on the cross member. I can get it to touch the bottom part of the cross member but not the whole thing. Should I heat it then try? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
