front springs

I would like to get some new springs I am just not sure what to get. All that seems to be availble for older mustangs is stock springs or 1" lowering springs. What i want is more of a drag race spring. Does anyone know where to get one or will the 1" lowering springs do the trick? I am thinking of going with the 6 cly srpings would this work.

what ever you do DONT use springs fromm a car with a smaller enging. there are several reasonr but the most important is spring weight. u see although the spring ma be smaller so is the the range . ie a smaller eng. cars spring is not made to support the extra weight of a smaller motor, thus it may give u the rite height you will loose stopping powre(bounce back) and what littlehandeling ability OUR mustangs have (or lack of). try a company that has the correct equipment . like= PST www.p-s-t.com . ormustang plusin stocton calif. www.mustangsplus.com.
