l have a 1987 5.0 GT with the EFI system. I'm looking to swap in a 345 horse 302 GT-40. instead of using the fuel injection system, lm changing to a 4bbl. the trans is a T-5 manual. will l be able to swap the motor in, connect the wiring to the guages, and go? or is the transmission computer controlled in any way? is a GT-40 plug and play? are there any parts of the car that run off the computer other than the engine?
thanks |
