Post Funny sound from throw out bearing

Does anyone know what happens to a throw out bearing as it wears out. Does the clutch respond differently? Mine is making a sound once in a while that goes zzziiiitttthh. Mostly when it's cold. Any takers on a answer to this one?

Might be time to change the clutch assembly. I know the SVO is doing the same sometimes and also my dads daily driver truck. Does it stop once you put the clutch in? Well totally off the subject have you ever timed your car? What kind of hp do you have? Why did you use a 302 crank?

Your on therite track,it may beon the way out. First try the adjustment rod(to the fork that holds the bearing)sounds may be due to slopthere. #2 look for bad mounts ie;crossmember@trans,motor mounts, clutch return spring(ess play),trans to eng bolts (loose). #3 the clutch mount bushings(plastic)will wear outor the felt pads may be gone,it in the eng bay attached to the driver side frame "the pivot point"can you move or shake it with your hand? #4 yank the trans & remember to pack the bearing next time (humor).
