Talking WANTED! 65 or 66 mustang fastback

I'm looking for a 65 or 66 mustang fastback. i'd like one that's a good restoration candidate, however, one that's already been partially or mostly restored is fine also. my only real issue is rust. i don't mind a little in the normal areas, but if it's rusted all over the place, i'll most likely pass. i'd also consider a trade for my 65 mustang coupe. it's nearly completely restored (mostly original), the exception being the engine has 100K miles on it. the only reason that i haven't done the engine is that it still runs great, always starts, and never dies. i'm lowering the price as well, so that i can afford the fastback i'm looking for. let me know if you have a fastback you'd like to sell me at mattgoveiagt@yahoo.com. thanks.

1) Where are you? (Fill in your location)
2) How far would you drive?
3) How much money do you have?

I know of one thats dissasembled the owner has no time for. Seems he has alot of new parts and has about 99% of the parts to finish. Its a 1965 2+2. If you have the funds I can go take pictures. $6500. No trades.

i live in stockton, california. it's about 30 minutes south of sacramento. i don't have a problem driving across the country, if need be. just has to be for the right car. as for how much money i have, let's just say that i have enough for a fair price on the right car. also, if it's disassembled, do you think i could purchase this car without the engine or tranny? if i could, that would be a really big plus.

I'll have to check what he has for the engine and if he'd subtract it. Im thinking he won't. I work with his son and I'll try to get more info before the weekend.

is the car COMPLETELY disassembled? it'd be great if it were rolling. also, i just bought a "real" car (not a toy) so i can get to school and work while i restore my toys. i have to sell my coupe before i can afford a fastback, but i'm going to a car show the next sat & sun at the placerville strawberry festival, hopefully i'll find lots of serious buyers there. wish me luck!

Whats the engine/tranny, and what condition's it in? I might be persuaded to "contribute" if its a decent shape 289.
