Has anyone heard of a factory sunroof option for a 67 mustang fastback. I just bought this car and it has a sunroof. It looks like it may be a factory option. Please help.

Sorry, but as far as I know there was no option available until the Mustang II came out.This could be a good installation but I guaranty this was an add on and as long as your not trying to go original, no problem. But these sunroofs will usually hurt the resale value.

I believe you are right. I think I read somewhere that sunroofs were not an option until somewhere around 1982.

I think I remember an article in an old Mustang Monthly that featured a factory sunroof in the sixties. It was like the removable hardtop option, they made a couple and it quietly died. More than likely though yours is just an aftermarket installaion.
