HE@DMAN or DYN()MAX

Which is better for a 66' Stang with a mildly beefed engine? I've heard good and bad about both and I don't know which one to pick. Headm@n or Dyn()max

I put the dynomax super turbos on my 66 convertible. They are a little loud in the car under 65 mp. Nice sound though. As far as performance upgrade I dont think I can help you with that as I put a dual system on the day after I brought it home with the new engine. I put the dynomax's on my last vehicle also.

did you have to alter anything in the engine bay. I don't want to cut any metal.

I think your talking about headers right? if so Dynomax is the way to go. Headman are a P.O.S. if you ask me. They are too thin. Also more expensive. I have the Dynomax ceramic coated ones and love em. Only thing I had to do was slip the driver side one underneath the car. Have you heard of flowtech they are good also. The Torino has those. They have larger runners than the Dynomax. One last tip put spark plug number 4 in first before bolting the header on.

I know headman may not be the greatest, but I have had mine for 6 years, 3 cars,3 trannys, three exhausts. They only needed a bit of prying the odd time. They fit good and plugs are easy to get at. They are in great shape still.

My buddy has flow techs and they have larger primary tubes. They were a POS to put in(3 pieces and kinda leaky). They probably flow a little better though than the headman.
