Head compatibility

Will 1975 351W Heads fit a 66 289? I have heard that only years 69 to 74 will fit.

If you need heads for a 66' 289 i have them.

If I'm not mistaken, those are smog heads. You'd be better off going another way.

yes they will fit BUT bo the head work first!!!!

What kind of heads do you have? If I am going to spend money on knew heads I would like to see some performance gains. I am not interested in stock heads.

The're the stock 66 289 heads, they have been re-built(seats,valves,""springs ect). performance wise,they could stand some port work.
